New Issue of Yacht Concept

The February 2008 issue of Yacht Concept is out and available to all subscribers and clients.  This first issue of 2008 is devoted exclusively to the charter yacht experience and includes  first-hand reports of some of the most breath-taking yachts in existence, and in-depth descriptions of the charter experience.  Not satisfied with just the usual Caribbean/Med routine, we uncovered some exciting possibilities in pockets of the world that can only be experienced on small watercraft.  What better way than on a private yacht?

The personal service of a private yacht was the original inspiration for YachtConcept, and served as an apt description for the style of travel we found for our clients- highly personalized, very detailed, and something different than the mainstream travel market can produce.

In November, in preparation for our February issue, and to gather information for one of our upcoming client projects, we spent some time at one of the Yacht Charter industry's biggest events, the Antigua yacht show.

Our experience at the Antigua Yacht Meeting - with the wonderful yacht brokers, yacht crew, and yacht managers -was a true testiment to an industry that maintains high standards and great pride.  They all truly have the 'Yacht Concept' , and we look forward to working with them in the future.   Thank you to all who so graciously gave your time and wisdom!

Yachts, yachts, yachts!  The inspiration for YachtConcept magazine.   The highly-personalized lifestyle.   The gleaming, polished, smooth, luxurious pinnacle of travel.   The February issue of YachtConcept will truly be about "yacht concepts".  th entire issue will be devoted to charter yacht vacations.   We will be attending the yacht shows in December, interviewing crew, brokers, and inspecting the vessels to help make our recommendations to our readers.  It's a procedure that is vitally necessary to insure the experience YC readers expect, and we will do our best to give you the information you need.   Not engine speed, not tonnage, but the experience.  We will do in-depth reports on yachts suggested by our clients, and a few more that also look promising.  As we are working on a big South-East Asia project, we will also be talking to brokers attending to attempt to locate the hard-to-find 'perfect yacht' for our consulting client.

A new research project!  A New consulting client has presented us with our most unusual project to date, which will require all of our resources, and then some!  Details will be posted later, but the journey we are planning will start and end in South-East Asia, and will have a 'mystic' theme, passing through the islands of Indonesia's 'Ring of Fire'.  Some of the worlds renowned explorers are helping us find mind-blowing locations, and we are working with local operators to create luxurious environments  within some of the world's most remote locations.
